Château du Patys - Maison / Musée Hervé BAZIN

A writer's house in Haut-Anjou, Château du Patys is the historic family home of Hervé BAZIN, the setting for the plot of his famous novel "Vipère au poing". As you wander through the twenty or so rooms of the château, all furnished and decorated, you will rediscover the old-fashioned atmosphere described in the novel and learn about the writer's ancestors. At the end of the tour, a contemporary room presents all of his work, and a small bookshop sells regional books.
